Introduction

Who we are

I'm Pasa, I live in Pirkanmaa Ikaalinen with my partner. At this moment we have seven working Siberian huskies and three house cats.

We do sled dog sports with our dogs and also race. I've raced in sprint races but planned to race in mid distance races in the future. Sometimes we also go to dog shows, mostly on speciality shows because there are judges who appreciate working dogs.

The dream of having my own sled dog team became when I was 5 years old. I watch a Balto movie a lot and remember dreaming to have my own 10 dog sled dog team that I could race with. In 2017 I started to fulfill my dream when my first sled dog Laika came. I also dreamed of having my own kennel name and breed and that dream has been fulfilled after my first litter was born in 2025.

Our life

Dogs live outside in 4x6 and 3x4 sized kennels. There's always at least 2 dogs and at most 4 dogs on each kennel. Dogs can decide on their own who they want to have as their kennel friend. Some of the dog houses are isolated. In summer 2026 I start to build a new kennel complex where everything is going to be renewed.

Dogs exercise in a ~1000m² yard. The yard is flat, has a lot of vegetation and dogs can run around two buildings. There's immediate access to our house and to their kennels. I've planned to expand the yard in the future.

Dogs eat high quality kibble, raw meat and supplements. They also eat soup, especially on training days, which is made of either raw meat, wet food, eggs or kibble.
