Temperament
Change his home in summer 2021.
Mommy's boy. Friendly and obedient. Can be off-leashed. Loved to play with toys.
Sensitive to stress, didn't fit outside dog life or belonging to a bigger pack. Lonely. Insecure with other males.
Working
I can't remember very well about Hides working anymore.
Eager but pretty sloppy worker. Did know all of the commands and followed them and he was on lead a lot.
Didn't run after 10km. Insecure and was easily distracted. Pain could have one of the reasons for his behavior.
Ate, drank and slept well. Did stress car rides.
The end
Hide broke his leg when he was a puppy. Fracture caused his movement to be incorrect and we rehabilitated his leg for two years before it was okay, but it has already made damage. He had arthritis in his 2,5 year old x-rays but it wasn't found until 2022 autumn when he started to have incontinent and behavioral changes.
Hide was on pain meds for a few years. He was euthanized after his medication wasn't working very well anymore and higher dosages gave bad side effects before winter when the pain was worst.
